Unit Command

Officer

The link between Commander and troops. Officers direct their unit, ensure cohesion, and place Outposts, Garrisons, and Forward Positions to keep the team in the fight.

Standard Infantry
Beginner

Rifleman

The front-line heart of every unit. Responsible for fire and manoeuvre, taking objectives, and resupplying teammates — the easiest role to learn and the right place to start.

Combat Medic
Intermediate

Medic

One of the most important roles in the game. Medics revive wounded allies, negate Manpower losses, and keep the unit moving with smoke cover and extra bandages.

Frontline Assault
Intermediate

Assault

The tip of the spear. Highly mobile with fully automatic weaponry and grenades, the Assault leads the charge on strongpoints, trenches, buildings, and hedgerows.

Anti-Armour
Intermediate

Anti-Tank

The counter to enemy armour. Armed with a static AT gun, rocket launcher, or satchel charge, the Anti-Tank role is essential in providing a counter to the threat of enemy armor.

Anti-Air
Intermediate

Anti-Aircraft (NVA)

NVA-exclusive counter to US air dominance. The Anti-Aircraft role operates static AA emplacements to deny helicopter mobility, force pilots to high altitude, and protect NVA ground forces from aerial fire support.

Logistics Support
Intermediate

Support

Crucial to every other role on the battlefield. The Support places Supply Crates that enable Officers and specialists to build deploy points and offensive and defensive deployables.

Heavy Weapons
Advanced

Machine Gunner

Unparalleled suppressive fire. The Machine Gunner ties down entire enemy units, enables friendly flanks, and turns strongpoints and ambush positions into no-go zones.

Combat Engineer
Intermediate

Engineer

Fortifies any area with tank traps, barbed wire, sandbags, and mines. Repairs friendly vehicles and channels the enemy into prepared kill zones.
