Crucial to every other role on the battlefield. The Support places Supply Crates that enable Officers and specialists to build deploy points and offensive and defensive deployables.

Role Overview

Support is crucial for other roles to be able to perform their actions. This role can place down the Supply Crate, needed by others to build deploy points and offensive and defensive deployables. Work closely with your Officer and other roles that use supplies to ensure they are delivered to the right place at the right time. Once they are placed, they cannot be moved.

Once supplies have been placed, join the rest of your unit in the attack. Prior to dropping supplies, play things more cautiously — consider a rear-guard function to safeguard the placement of supplies.

Supplies can be destroyed by the enemy, so be cautious and don’t place supplies needlessly. Other roles are depending on you — deliver supplies promptly and where needed.

The Supply Crate

The Supply Crate is what makes the Support role matter. Without it, Officers cannot build Garrisons and Forward Positions, and specialist roles cannot place offensive and defensive deployables. Every fortified point, every forward spawn, every defensive emplacement traces back to a Supply Crate placed by a Support.

Key rules for supply placement:

  • Coordinate first — work with your Officer to identify where supplies are needed before you move
  • Place in cover — supplies can be destroyed by the enemy; an exposed crate is a dead crate
  • Don’t place needlessly — a wasted crate in the wrong location is a crate that isn’t where it’s needed
  • Once placed, they stay — there is no picking up and repositioning; get it right the first time

Strengths

  • Enables every other build-dependent role on the battlefield
  • Supply Crates unlock Garrisons, Forward Positions, and defensive deployables
  • Rear-guard positioning keeps you alive long enough to deliver supplies
  • Joins the attack once supplies are placed — not a passive role

Weaknesses

  • Supply Crates cannot be moved once placed — positioning mistakes are permanent
  • Supplies are destructible — enemy action can neutralise your contribution
  • Requires close coordination with the Officer; ineffective when operating independently
  • High priority to destroy for the enemy — your crates are a target

Best Playstyle

Your match has two phases. Before the drop: play cautiously, stick to the rear, and protect yourself and your supplies. Coordinate with your Officer to identify the right location — don’t rush the placement. After the drop: join your unit in the attack. You’ve done the logistical work; now you fight.

Don’t freewheel supply drops. Every crate placed without Officer coordination risks landing in a position that doesn’t serve the team. Deliver promptly, deliver precisely, and deliver where you’re told.

Teamwork Tips

  • Check in with your Officer at the start of every match — establish where supplies will be needed before you move
  • Never place a Supply Crate without cover nearby; an exposed crate is destroyed quickly
  • Call out your drop location to the unit so those who need supplies know where to build
  • Protect the crate after placing it — you can still fight near it to prevent enemy destruction
  • Once supplies are down, push with your unit; don’t linger at the crate

A solid primary for self-defence during supply delivery, with the Supply Crate as the role-defining equipment. Specific loadout options will be confirmed and added here after launch.

Advanced Tactics

  • Timing the drop: place supplies after your unit has secured a position, not while the fight is still live — a crate placed in a hot zone is destroyed almost immediately
  • Layered drops: if your Officer is spreading Garrisons across the map, stagger your supply drops to serve multiple build sites rather than stacking everything in one location
  • Rear-guard discipline: the instinct to push with the unit before the drop is strong — resist it. One death before placement can cost your entire unit their spawn infrastructure
  • Destroy your own crates: if the enemy is about to overrun a position where your supplies sit, destroying them yourself denies the enemy the intelligence of knowing where your build infrastructure was concentrated
